Benjamin David Viney

Hello! I'm an artist currently studying a two year extended national diploma and am planning to go to university next year. Although I'm a young artist I have already been lucky enough to have the opportunity of working at the Tate Modern on the Uniliver Tate modern Series. The reason for starting up this blog is because I have arrived at the end of my course and have begun my Final Major Project. This blog is designed to showcase my final piece which will be exhibited in May at the Chatham Historic Dockyard in Kent.

My current project is called ‘Seeing Double’ and is looking into four main concepts Multiplication, Collection, Repetition and Reflection.

Pintresting?
The 'pintresting' installation was created by using 1,500 pins in combination of two separate pieces. It focused on both the use of repetition and collection and was originally inspired by 2 exhibitions that I have recently seen Song Dongs 'Waste Not' at the Barbicain and The Kusama Exhibition at the Tate Modern.
